How to Report Scams

As I have already warned you, there are many scams out there.  In fact, 99% of the opportunities you will find are scams.  So, proceed with caution when you are looking to buy something.

First, if you buy a program, spent time on it, tried what this program suggests and you still do not succeed.  First, contact that company and ask for a refund.  Let that company know that if they do not resolve your dispute, you plan on contacting the Better Business Bureau and the Attorney General’s office.

If you still cannot resolve your dispute with these companies, then file a complaint with the following organizations:

The Federal Trade Commission – 1-877-FTC-HELP (1-877-382-4357) or log on to www.ftc.gov.

The Attorney General’s Office – you will have to look this up based on the state in which the company is located.

The Better Business Bureau’s – you can log on at www.bbb.org or www.bbbonline.org

Remember, if you don’t report them, others will fall into the same trap that you did.
